Western Sydney University has switched on Microsoft’s 365 Copilot for every member of its staff, in one of the broadest deployments of generative AI seen so far inside an Australian university. From July, academics, professional staff, casual employees and higher degree research candidates all have access to the enterprise-grade assistant, woven directly into the Microsoft applications they already use to write, plan and communicate.
